Do you have a “bright idea” book?

Do you have a “bright idea” book?

By JC Kiadii, Internet Marketing for Mortgage Professionals

Bright ideas from close-more-loans.comGreat ideas usually come up when I have my weekly conference calls with my mortgage marketing clients. During a call with a client a couple of weeks ago, we brainstormed a terrific idea. Since we didn’t have time to implement it, I told her it was going in the “bright idea” book.

She thought I was joking, but I was quite serious. I really do have a place where I store all of my bright ideas. Every month or so, I go and look them over to see if there’s anything in there I have the time to implement.

Having a bright idea book saves me from shiny object syndrome – where I get distracted from my current path by racing around after the next bright shiny idea.

I do make the time to implement some of my bright ideas. The decision to start a niche virtual assistance practice exclusively for mortgage professionals, for example, came from my bright idea book.

So, what do you do with your bright ideas? Do you let them distract you? Do they die on the vine? Or do you have a place to store them?
